Exercise and Mindfulness Classes Through Your Blue Store Studio

Strengthen your mind-body connection with online exercise and mindfulness classes* as well as educational workshops at Your Blue StoreSM Studio.

Classes are held LIVE on Facebook in the Your Blue Store Studio Group each weekday at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. You’ll also find a variety of educational workshops to assist in your overall well-being. If you miss the live class or workshop, you can watch the video anytime in our Facebook group.

Exercise and mindfulness classes

Mondays at 10:00 a.m. 
MEDITATION
A class that focuses on meditation using slow, rhythmic movement. Integrate your breathing and awareness to release energy. Create calm and strengthen the core. In addition, this practice can reduce stress and anxiety, increases awareness and flexibility, and promotes overall wellness and relaxation.

Mondays at 2:00 p.m. 
SIT AND BE FIT
An excellent class if you have trouble standing up for a long time while exercising. Get a great workout while sitting comfortably on your chair or couch.

Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. 
CHAIR YOGA
A yoga practice done while sitting in a chair. Strengthen, stretch, and tone the entire body from head to toe through the combined practice of rhythmic movements, gentle postures, breathing techniques, relaxation, and meditation. Promotes overall well-being for mind, body, and spirit.

Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. 
LIVING ROOM LATIN MOVES
A Latin-inspired dance fitness class that incorporates international music with contagious dance steps. A perfect combination of fun and fitness in your living room.

Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. 
CORE N’ MORE
An exercise class that focuses on toning your CORE (abs, obliques, and lower back) and helps you work on an overall sense of balance and well-being. Learn fluid movements that can strengthen your core as well as your upper and lower body.

Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. 
WATER BOTTLE WORKOUT 
A full-body workout using common items from your home. Focus on basic, easy-to-follow exercises in a comfortable environment using water bottles or canned soups. Feel free to join this class even if you have weights and dumbbells.

Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. 
BALANCE
A fitness strengthening class that uses targeted, lower body workout techniques to increase stability and improve balance. Incorporates exercises for strength, balance, endurance, and flexibility.

Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. 
COFFEE BREAK SHAKE
A mix of cardio and strength-training movements using your body weight to help you sculpt, tone, and burn calories as you move from one exercise to the next.

Fridays at 10:00 a.m. 
YOGA POTPOURRI 
A weekly yoga workout that explores different yoga styles—an ideal way to learn a variety of yoga modalities.

Fridays at 2:00 p.m. 
GET UP AND GROOVE
A class with easy dance patterns as well as some fun salsa combinations to keep you grooving. Learn how to move comfortably and confidently to Latin rhythms, transitioning into fundamental salsa footwork. No dance experience required.

PRACTICAL GUIDE TO BUILDING EMOTIONAL HEALTH
Join the BCBSRI Behavioral Health team for useful tips on managing and maintaining your emotional well-being.

BLOOD PRESSURE ON THE RISE 
Even in uncertain times, you can control several contributors to high blood pressure. Join us to look at the roles that managing stress, maintaining healthy eating habits, and monitoring your blood pressure have on bringing your numbers down.

Thursday, February 18 at 11:30 a.m.
THE POWER OF POSITIVITY
Participants will discover some of the research that is known about positivity—what it is, what it isn’t, the brain science behind positivity, and how you can cultivate more positivity in your life for greater health and well-being.

Tuesday, February 23 at 3:30 p.m.
CHOLESTEROL AWARENESS
There are a lot of descriptors when it comes to cholesterol such as LDL, HDL, triglycerides, good cholesterol, bad cholesterol, and cholesterol ratio. At the end of this session, participants will better understand what all these terms mean, the healthy values for each, and why healthy levels are so important to long-term health.

Thursday, March 4 at 11:30 a.m.
FACING TOUGH TIMES—RESILIENCY
Participants will learn what resiliency is and how to incorporate it into their lives. We will look at contributing factors of resilience and tips on maintaining resiliency regardless of what life may bring. Resiliency helps with dealing with stress and improves the ability to cope, which can lead to a healthier, active life. Asking for help, when needed, is also important and is highlighted in this seminar.

Tuesday, March 16 at 3:30 p.m.
KEEPING BONES HEALTHY AND PREVENTING FALLS
The fear of falling can affect balance and lead to more falls. Medications, certain conditions, and lack of physical activity can also impact bone health and fall risk. We’ll share tips on maintaining bone health and living strong and in balance.

Tuesday, March 30 at 3:30 p.m.
BACK HEALTH
Even the simplest tasks can feel nearly impossible when you have back pain. In this seminar, participants will learn more about back pain and injuries, diagnosis, and treatment options. They will learn preventive techniques to help avoid injury, speed recovery and lastly, learn exercises to help maintain back health.
