Pharmacist and patient

To help you protect your health and lower your costs, most BCBSRI Medicare Advantage plans1 offer pharmacy
benefits. Here’s how to maximize your savings.

1. Start right away with a $0 pharmacy deductible.
You don’t have to pay anything up front before your prescriptions are covered.

2. Pay lower prices by using preferred retail pharmacies.
You’ll get $0 generic drugs and low copays on brand name drugs by using Preferred Retail Pharmacies, including CVS Pharmacy®, Stop & Shop, Walmart, PillPack, and independent pharmacies throughout Rhode Island.

3. Enjoy the convenience of mail order.
With Preferred Mail Order, you’ll pay $0 for a 90-day supply of many generic drugs and have them delivered.2 Call our Medicare Concierge team at (401) 277-2958 or 1-800-267-0439 (TTY: 711) for more information on mail order options.

4. Get vaccinated for $0.

5. Use our preferred insulin program.
You pay $20 for a 30-day supply or $50 for a 90-day supply. Copays will not increase, even through the coverage gap. To find a list of preferred insulins, log in to myBCBSRI.com.
