Parsnip and Apple Soup
3 parsnips, peeled
6 apples, peeled, cored
1 gallon water
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup maple syrup
Salt (to taste)
- Gather and wash all ingredients.
- Rough chop both the parsnip and apples.
- In a boiling pot, place the parsnip and apples.
- Boil for at least 30 minutes or until the parsnip is tender.
- Once the parsnip and apple are tender, blend in a mixer until smooth, and then add the remaining ingredients.
- Serve hot or cold and enjoy.
